Svii Prostir | Vinnytsia, Ukraine
In 2025, twelve mothers, led by Yuliia Diakun, came together to build a place their children didn’t have.

Within just
six weeks, they opened Svii Prostir, the first of its kind in Vinnytsia.

“All I wanted was something simple — for my son to have a place where he would be accepted for who he is, where he could communicate with peers and adults in a safe environment, and where he would have an opportunity to socialize. And, in turn, I would have time to work and take care of my responsibilities.”

Yuliia Diakun, Founder, Svii Prostir

A space for children. Support for families.
Helping children learn, grow and connect.

Children spend the day in structured activities, with socialization and individualized care. They build communication, self-care and daily living skills while their families work, attend medical appointments and manage daily responsibilities.

Supporting mothers and families.

Mothers raising children with disabilities often face isolation and little chance to work or rest. The center offers practical, emotional and legal support and helps families find the resources they need.

Your support makes this possible.
