Anya Lomachenko

My name is Anya, and I’m a multidisciplinary artist and designer currently based in Chicago. I work across ceramics, installation, performance, and sculpture, often thinking about identity, displacement, and how memory is held, lost, and rebuilt.
I’m originally from Ukraine, and a lot of my work grows out of that connection. I’m interested in how personal stories intersect with collective histories, especially in the context of war, migration, and the space between civilian and military life. Through my practice, I try to challenge colonial narratives and contribute to a more self-defined Ukrainian voice abroad.
